25TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE GENERAL COUNCIL OF SOCIAL WORK- SPAIN

On the 25th April 2008 the General Council of Social Work from Spain, celebrated the 25th Anniversary.
The main purpose was to celebrate the work of the Spanish Social Workers, committed with Human Rights and the Society.
More than 300 participants were present, to celebrate this event, from the different Delegations of the General Council, people from the government, politicians and Social Workers in general.
The President Ana Lima Fernández gave the gold insignia of the profession to all Ex-Presidents of the General Council of Social Work from Spain: Beneta Llopis (pastime), Paz Fernández, Purificación Trigo, Patrocinio de las Heras, Elvira Cortajarena, Maria Jesús Utrilla, Carmen Guerra, Julia García Alvarez and Ana Maria Aguilar, as a tribute for their work in the past.

The following video reflects the history and the importance of the commitment of the Social Workers from Spain with the Society.
