HEA Seminar 'Teaching Ethics in Health and Social Care: sharing innovative practice' 29 Nov 2012
Dear Colleagues,

I’m very pleased to announce that the Open University Ethics Interest Group has obtained funding from the Higher Education Academy to organise a seminar entitled Teaching Ethics in Health and Social Care: sharing innovative practice.

Date: 29 November 2012 10am-4pm
Venue: Open University Library, Walton Hall, Milton Keynes
Confirmed speakers so far include Eve Garrard and Paul Kingston. Eve taught ethics to social workers and health professionals in the Professional Ethics department at Keele University for many years.  She has also written and taught for the Open University. Paul Kingston is Professor of Ageing and Mental Health at Staffordshire University, and is interested in the relationship between ethics teaching and nursing practice.
